New app launched to help the unemployed

A new App has been launched in Donegal to aid the unemployed.
HiUp, enables job seekers to connect directly with employers and allows them to identify any skills gaps they have and connect with training providers, either by taking training directly within the app or booking classroom-based training via the app.
At the launch of HiUp, App Developer, Brendan Kavanagh said: “Available vacancies in Donegal – and throughout the country – are not being filled because the workforce can’t find them. Recruitment agencies often sit in the middle in this situation, and don’t help employers or job seekers match with the opportunities. By using HiUp, job seekers in Donegal can take back control of their careers.”
