Letterkenny University Hospital was the joint second most overcrowded in the country this morning
according to the INMO.
There were 29 patients waiting on a bed in Letterkenny this morning, 16 of them on trolleys in the Emegency Department.
There were also 29 waiting on beds in Drogheda, while University Hospital Cork was the most overcrowded in the country with 38 people awaiting beds.
In total, across the country this morning there were 424 people on Emergency Department trolleys or waiting in the overflow areas of wards.
