Donegal County Council support Ireland’s bid to host 2023 Rugby World Cup

Donegal County Council has given its approval to Ireland’s bid to host the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
One of the stadiums identified as part of the bid Derry’s Celtic Park.
Derry and Strabane District Council has already given its support for the bid.
Councillor, Jack Murray tabled a motion calling on the local authority to support the bid of the world’s third biggest sporting event.
He pointed out that there would be huge revenue for Donegal and the North-West if Derry’s Celtic Park was chosen as one of the stadiums for games during the event…
