There’s an urgent need for full inclusion of people with disabilities in society.
That’s according to Fianna Fáil’s Spokesperson on Disability, Margaret Murphy O’Mahony also says that Ireland must urgently ratify the UN Convention on the Rights of Person with Disabilities.
Today is International Day for People with Disabilities, which aims to promote an understanding of disability issues.
Deputy O’Mahony says Ireland still has much to do achieve a society that treats people with disabilities properly:
