27 people waiting for a bed at Letterkenny University Hospital

 

There were 27 people waiting for a bed at Letterkenny University Hospital this morning according to the latest figures from the INMO.
10 were on trolleys in the Emergency Department while a further 17 were on wards or on overflow areas.
Almost 450 people are on trolleys at hospitals across the country.
According to the INMO – University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded with 41 people in need of a bed.
University Hospital Galway is next with 34 people on trolleys and overflow areas of wards.
