Number of LUH patients without beds doubles in 24 hours

There’s been another steep rise in the numbers of patients awaiting admission at Letterkenny University Hospital, with 36 patients without beds this morning, 21 of them on Emegency Department trolleys.
That’s over double yesterday’s figure of 17.
Nationally, the INMO reports 509 patients without beds today, 355 of them on Emergency Department trolleys.
