The issue surrounding a hike in rally insurance prices which threatened to wipe out the 2017 season has come to an end with Irish Motorsport clubs accepting the new insurance deal.
Four events this month had already been postponed and doubts were growing around the Galway International Rally- but, with the new deal now accepted, it has been given the green light.
The new deal also means that the Donegal International Rally will go ahead as scheduled.
