Donegal Ladies Lose out to Dublin

Geraldine McLaughlin was the standout player in the first half and opened the scoring for Donegal from a free kick.
Dublin then began to dominate the game and sent five points over unanswered by Michael Naughton’s ladies.
McLaughlin pulled the game back with a goal and then leveled the game from the penalty spot minutes later to send the teams into halftime with the score at 2-2 – 0-08.
A strong performance from Dublin in the second half however proved too much for Naughton’s ladies.
Two goals were the killer but with the Dubs sending nine points over the bar, it was an impossible task for the ladies.
A second defeat for the Ladies in the league.
Final Score: Dublin 2-17- 3-07 Donegal.
