17 people waiting for a bed at LUH – the second most overcrowded hospital today

There were 17 people waiting for a bed at Letterkenny University Hospital this morning according to the INMO – the second highest in the country today.
8 people were waiting on trolleys in its Emergency Department while a further 9 were on wards.
South Tipperary Hospital was the most overcrowded with 25 people waiting there.
Nationally, there were 200 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.
