Strong performance in China by Brendan Boyce

After four days of racing in China, Brendan Boyce ended the season on a positive note with a strong finish at the 2017 multi day international walking festival.
Having missed the World Championships in London in August due to injury, the Finn Valley man returned to action finishing 14th overall, competing in conditions from blistering heat to torrential rain.
Brendan was also part of a team that included Ireland’s Alex Wright, Wayne Snynam from South Africa and Polands Damian Blocki.
The group done enough in the final 10.5k race today to take 4th in the team section.
