Kerr moves to within 1 point of 3rd place

Richard Kerr finished race one in Assen in 4th place after starting from 21st position on the grid. He had two big crashes, one in practice and a very fast crash on lap 4 of qualifying which left him near the back of the grid.
It was a wet race and Richard carved his way through the pack to finish 4th in the motostar class. He has now closed the gap to 3rd place in the championship to 1 point as his nearest rival Storm Stacy crashed out of the race.
Kerr starts from row 3 for race two tomorrow.
