Glenfin have beaten Milford 0-12 v 0-08 to claim the Michael Murphy Sports and Leisure Intermediate B Football Championship Crown in O’Donnell Park in Letterkenny.
It was a very tight affair in the first half, with neither team able to establish any dominance on the scoreboard. The teams traded scores for the entire half, and they were level at half time, 0-05 to 0-05.
Glenfin started the second half well and were 3 points up after 11 minutes. With 4 minutes to go, Glenfin led by 4, 0-10 v -0-6. 4 more points were scored in the dying minutes, 2 apiece, and that left that Glenfin ran out 4 point winners to claim the Intermediate B crown.
