Serious concern has been raised over figures which show that last week alone, over 100 people in Donegal did not attend their outpatient appointment in Letterkenny.
It’s understood that the figures vary from week to week and can range from between 79 to 179.
The issue has been branded as a huge waste of financial resources and consequently causing unnecessary delays within the system.
