Irish Deaf Women’s Futsal Team qualify for European Championships

The Irish Deaf Women’s Futsal team have qualified for the European Championships in Finland this coming December.
A 6-2 win over Italy earlier this afternoon was enough to clinch qualification for the side, following a draw with the Netherlands on Friday and losses to Germany and Denmark respectively.
Ramelton teenager Catherine Grier scored in the 3-3 draw against the Dutch on Friday, and unfortunately came off with an ankle injury against Germany yesterday.
