Derry City were 5-0 winners over Limerick FC in their return to the Brandywell Stadium on Monday night.
Derry were coming off the back of a 6-1 defeat to Shamrock Rovers last time out, and manager Kenny Shiels feels that the city of Derry, as well as his team, needed the victory tonight.
