Local authorities facing limbo situation over river maintenance – McConalogue

 

A Donegal Deputy has told the Dail local authorities are facing a limbo situation with regards to river maintenance.
Deputy Charlie McConalogue says the problem is acute in Donegal following the unprecedented flooding of August last year.
He asked Minister Eoghan Murphy to outline what action is being taken to identify those responsible for maintaining rivers which are outside the remit of the OPW:
