Latest LIS Donegal funding allocation ‘nowhere near enough’


Following the latest announcement of over €884,000 in funding under the LIS scheme for Donegal, a West Donegal Councillor says it is nowhere near enough.
Latest figures from Donegal County Council reveal that over €30million is needed to fund the 1280 applications deemed eligible under the 2018 scheme.
Cathaoirleach of the Glenties Municipal Distrcit, Councillor Micheal Cholm Mac Giolla Easbuig says unless the Government rolls out a significant funding package, it will take up to 30 years to meet the needs of the county:
