18 people waiting on a bed at LUH this morning

There were 18 people awaiting admission to Letterkenny University Hospital this morning, down on yesterdays figure of 23.
According to the INMO, 2 people were on trolleys in the hospital’s Emergency Department with a further 16 waiting on wards.
Nationally, 336 people are waiting on beds at hospitals across the country today.
University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded hospital with 41 patients waiting on a bed there.
