It’s emerged that eleven students traveling from Kilmacrennan to Milford will now have to find their own way to school after being refused their bus pass for this current school year.
Most pupils are currently on concessionary tickets which mean that they can by law be refused if the school bus has reached capacity. This is because the school in Milford is not the closest available school to their home.
On today’s Nine til Noon Show, one mother indicated she has only just been told that her son’s application has been refused.
Deputy Charlie Mc Conalogue says that’s unacceptable………….
