Serious concern has been raised over the future of the Donegal fishing sector with claims that key issues within the sector are being left out of on-going Brexit negotiations.
There are fears that if clear future guidelines are not set out before the deadline, local fishermen will be left in limbo.
Cllr. Martin McDermott says Donegal depends heavily on the fishing sector and that fact is being ignored as part of current talks.
He says action must be taken by elected representatives; otherwise fishermen in the county will be left in a very dangerous position:
