McGuinness and Horan seen as favourites in Mayo

Jim McGuinness and James Horan are the early front-runners to succeed Stephen Rochford as Mayo football manager.
Rochford stepped down on Monday night, nearly three-years in charge, citing a lack of support from the county board.
He was seeking to have Breaffy pair Peter Ford and Shane Conway added to his managerial ticket for 2019.
Officers of the county board executive were set to discuss plans for 2019 with Rochford this week, but the outgoing boss apparently saw no reason for such a meeting.
McGuinness hasn’t been involved with an inter-county side since 2014 when he left Donegal to take up a role in soccer with Celtic and then in China.
Horan, who guided Mayo to two All Ireland Finals during his first term as Manager also stepped away from county management in 2014.
