The Garda Representative Association is calling for more resources and manpower in rural areas after a garda car was rammed in county Donegal this week.
An investigation is continuing after two gardai were injured in Carrigart when their vehicle was hit several times in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Gardai are continuing to search for a black Volkswagen Passat with the partial numberplate 02- MH in cionnection with the incident.
The GRA’s spokesman John O’Keefe says gardai in Donegal and other rural counties need more resources to deter criminals……….
