Search operation ongoing in Derry after man seen entering water

A search operation is ongoing in Derry this afternoon following a report that a man was seen entering the River Foyle.
Police say they received a report at around 11 o’clock this morning of the person entering the water in the Craigavon Bridge area.
The search operation is ongoing with emergency services and Foyle Search and Rescue at the scene.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have any information to come forward.
