McClean out of Wales & Poland ties

James McClean has been ruled out of the Republic of Ireland’s Nations League opener with Wales and the friendly with Poland.
The Stoke winger suffered a wrist injury in training and was taken to hospital for surgery.
Shane Duffy and David Meyler both trained today after missing yesterday’s sessions.
The squad are due to travel to Cardiff later.
