A security alert in the vicinity of Derry’s Strand Road PSNI station is over. Cordons which were in place at Lawrence Hill and Strand Road have been lifted and traffic is moving normally this morning.
At the scene last night, Mayor Cllr John Boyle said over 100 people were trapped in a bingo hall for a time.
Local Cllr Mickey Cooper was also at the scene………..
