Council urged to step up its acquisition of housing


Donegal County Council is being urged to step up its acquisition of houses and apartments in a bid to bring housing waiting lists down.
Cllr Adrian Glackin says the council has a history of being proactive, but he believes more can be done to acquire more units.
He told a Letterkenny Municipal District meeting that apartments opposite Letterkenny Institute of Technology are being readied for use, and that may present the council with opportunities:
