20 people awaiting admission to LUH

There were 20 people awaiting admission to Letterkenny University Hospital this morning according to the latest trolley watch report.
Seven people were on trolleys in its Emergency Department while a further 13 were waiting on wards.
The number is down dramatically from yesterday’s figure of 42.
The most overcrowded hospital today is Limerick University Hospital with 52 people waiting there.
The nationwide figure is 483, an increase of 6% on the same day last year when there were 456 patients on trolleys.
