Council urged to address ‘serious dangers’ at unguarded quarry


Donegal County Council has been urged to address the serious dangers surrounding an unguarded water-filled quarry in Porthall.
Councillor Gerry Crawford raised concerns over inadequate signing, warning of the dangers of the disused quarry and the lack of proper crash barriers surrounding the site.
He says the local authority must take urgent action before it is too late:
