Following a public consultation it has been decided that the new 3G pitch at Melvin in Strabane is to be named in honour of the late Felix McCrossan.
Derry City and Strabane District Council’s Health and Communities Committee have this week, fully endorsed a recommendation to adopt the outcome of the recent consultation and name the pitch the Felix McCrossan Pitch.
West Tyrone MLA Daniel McCrossan says it is a fitting tribute to a man who gave so much to the community:
