27 people waiting for a bed at LUH

There were 27 people awaiting in-patient beds this morning at Letterkenny University Hospital according to the latest trolley watch report.
Six people were on trolleys in its Emergency Department while a further 21 were waiting on wards.
The number is up three on yesterday’s figure of 24.
University Hospital Limerick was the most overcrowded hospital today with 56 people waiting there.
Nationally, there were 507 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.
