Derry man Michael Duffy was named the PFAI Player of the Year at their Awards Ceremony last night in Dublin.
The Dundalk midfielder scored 13 goals and picked up two Player of the Month Awards as his side went on to win the league and cup double.
Duffy has impressed this season to the extent that he is being heavily tipped for a call-up to the Republic of Ireland’s senior squad when his paperwork for transferring from Northern Ireland is processed.
