Pressure on the relevant Ministers is mounting to ensure funding for iCare and the Bluestack Foundation is secured for 2019 and for future years under a HSE Service Level Agreement.
Donegal Senator Padraig MacLochlainn will be raising the issue in the Seanad tomorrow.
There was much anger earlier this year when a decision was taken not to fund a joint application by the two organisations under the €16 million Ability Programme.
However, interim funding was eventually granted.
Senator MacLochlainn says its imperative a commitment is given by the Government to support both organisations:
