SIPTU says they’ve been left with no other choice than to ballot hospital support staff for strike.
The New Year ballot will affect more than 7,000 support staff in hospitals and healthcare centres across the country.
Divisional Organiser Paul Bell says some members are being underpaid by up to 6,000 euro a year and they’re being ignored by both the HSE and Government.
