Mary from Dungloe not affected by Civil Defence licence debacle

 
 

The Chairperson of the Mary from Dungloe festival has moved to clarify that this years event won’t be impacted by concerns nationally over Civil Defence medical supports.
The organisation usually provides first aid and other services at festivals but legal advice which was given to the Department of Defence could put that in jeopardy.
Speaking on today’s Nine Til Noon Show, Chairperson Andrea Atkinson says the festival hasn’t used Civil Defence supports for some time, however she did warn that rising insurance costs is becoming a real issue:
