The Government and the HSE’s refusal to recognise NASRA as a union of choice for ambulance workers has been branded absolutely disgraceful.
Donegal Deputy Pearse Doherty was speaking in the Dail and renewed his calls on the Government and the HSE to do the right thing and grant them their right to be heard.
Deputy Doherty appealed to Health Minister Simon Harris to take action on behalf of the almost 500 ambulance workers affected:
