Mullaghderg search called off

A search operation in the Mullaghderg area involving Bunbeg Coastguard and Arranmore Lifeboat was stood down last evening after nothing was found. Sligo-based Coastguard helicopter, Rescue 118 also joined the search for a time.
There had been reports of a surfer possibly being missing, and that sparked the alert. However, that was not the case.
