39 people awaiting in-patient beds at LUH

Letterkenny University Hospital had the third highest number of people awaiting in-patient beds in the country today, with 39. That’s three up on yesterday’s figure.
Of those waiting this morning, 15 were on Emergency Department trolleys.
According to the INMO, there were 489 admitted patients awaiting beds across the country this morning, the highest number, 76, at University Hospital, Limerick.
