Seaview Respite House to remain closed until November

 

The HSE has confirmed that Seaview Respite House will not reopen until November due to further delays in the handing over of the facility to Rehabcare.
The respite care service based in Mountcharles was due to reopen in July.
Donegal Deputy Thomas Pringle says no reason was given for the delay except an update to say that the HSE is currently undertaking final stages of fire compliance works.
Deputy Pringle says these unacceptable delays are leaving many families and children without much-needed respite:
