Further clarity casts doubt on Seaview Respite Centre reopening

 

Further clarity is said to have cast doubt on Seaview Respite Centre in Mountcharles opening in November.
The HSE stated earlier this week that the centre would be handed over to Rehab care next month following the completion of the final stages of fire compliance works.
In an additional update received by Donegal Deputy Pat the Cope Gallagher, the HSE says works will only finish at the facility on November 22nd after which, the centre will have to be registered with HIQA before services can be restored.
Deputy Gallagher says this has given rise to concerns that it could in fact be 2020 before Seaview Respite Centre is reopened:
