LYIT lose to Queens in Convoy

The LYIT mens gaelic football side lost their first game of the Higher Education Senior League on Wednesday night in Convoy.
The Michael Murphy managed side were beaten 3-12 to 1-11 by Queens Belfast.
Paddy Dolan hit five points for the LYIT while their goal was scored by Liam Jackson.
Michael Langan, Darragh Black, Caoimhin Marley and Peader Mogan were also on the scoresheet.
Having trailed from early, the Letterkenny men battled back to level the tie in the second half but two goals later in the game gave the win to Queens.
Their next game is against St Mary’s and then UUJ Jordanstown.
