The National Emergency Coordination Group will meet this morning ahead of the arrival of Storm Jorge.
A status yellow rainfall warning is in place for Donegal, all of Munster and Connacht.
Meanwhile, three separate wind warnings, two orange and one yellow, will affect the entire country on Saturday, when the storm arrives.
