Shots fired in Derry overnight

 

Police are investigating an incident during which a number of shots were fired at a flat in Derry last night.
It’s understood that several masked men arrived at the property in the Ballymagroarty area tried to force their way in.
The men then proceeded to break a number of windows and fired several shots as they were leaving.
No-one was injured in the incident which happened just before 9.30pm.
A police helicopter was deployed to support officers attending the scene on the ground.
