There were six patients awaiting in-patient beds at Letterkenny University Hospital this morning, one of them on an Emergency Department trolley.
That’s a fall of 12 on yesterday’s figure.
The Sligo figure was 11, also down 12 on yesterday.
The sharp fall has been reflected nationally, with the INMO saying 167 admitted patients were waiting for beds in Irish this morning, the highest number, 24, at Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar.
