Council stop issuing controlled burn permits

Donegal County Council has confirmed that will not be issuing any controlled burn permits until further notice.
It’s down to the on-going dry spell which the local authority say is favourable to the growth and spread of wildfires.
The matter is due to be reviewed next week beginning 27 April 2020.
