Slight drop in house prices in north west

 

House prices in Connacht-Ulster are down 2.3% compared to this time last year.
According to the latest Daft.ie report, the average rent is now €840 for the province, down 1.7%.
House sale prices across the country are lower than a year ago except in Leinster.
Ronan Lyons author of the Daft report says the figures show the markets are still volatile following the Covid-19 outbreak.
