Man charged in historical sexual abuse case in Sligo

 
 

A man in his 70’s is to appear in Court in Sligo this morning charged in connection with an historical sexual abuse case dating back to 1978.
He is to be charged in relation to allegations of indecent assault after an investigation launched in March of last year.
The charges relate to incidents which took place between 1978 and 1986 respectively.
He is due before Sligo District Court this morning.
