There are calls for healthcare to be considered on an all-island basis.
Senator Elisha McCallion during statements on the Health Bill 2020 in the Dail in recent days said the duplication of health services across North and South can no longer be afforded.
She told the Dail that more initiatives like the North West Cancer Centre are needed:
