Two Greencastle based fishing vessels detained off Cork

Two Greencastle based fishing vessels have been detained by the Irish Naval Service for alleged fishing offences in the Celtic Sea off the south coast.
The Irish Times is reporting that the LÉ William Butler Yeats detained the two vessels approximately 75 nautical miles southeast of Cork Harbour.
It’s understood the vessels were fishing for prawns and white fish when they were detained just before midday yesterday.
