Closing date for Restart Grant Plus scheme extended

 

The closing date for the Restart Grant Plus scheme under Donegal County Council has been extended from 30th September to 31st October 2020.
The Restart Grant Plus is a NEW standalone grant that is available to all eligible businesses, including those who received a grant in the first Restart Grant Scheme.
The grant is a contribution towards the cost of re-opening or keeping a business operational.
A further top up of 40% is now available due to the Level 3 restrictions currently in force in Donegal. This will issue automatically in due course and does not require another application.
Wet Pubs in the county are entitled to a further top up payment on their original Restart Plus Grant of 40%.
The maximum grant available is now €31,000 and the minimum payment is €5,600 based on your 2019 commercial rates bill.
Customers who received the original Restart Grant are eligible to apply for a second top-up payment.
The coouncil say any commercial trading entity operating from a commercially rateable business can apply, subject to meeting the application conditions which can be found on the council website donegalcoco.ie
