€100m Brexit Scheme for Agri-food Sector announced

The Government has announced a 100 million euro support scheme for the food processing sector.
It says the industry is ‘uniquely exposed’ due to the Brexit trade deal.
The scheme will be managed by Enterprise Ireland and is set to open to applications next month.
Minister Charlie McConalogue says the scheme will assist food processors to diversify their product ranges and markets in order to best support their export activity and the country’s primary producers.
